Ginny and Georgia have skyrocketed Netflix Top 10 Charts again. It’s been more than a year since we got news in the second season but it was not expected to go down for a few months so why did the show back on Netflix Top 10s? We try and find out.
Why is this news you might ask? Of course things come and go from Netflix Top 10s all the time? Well, you are right but the top 10 are often dominated by fresh or new titles landing on Netflix. We also see titles like Cocomelon, Yo Soy Betty La Fea consistently remains in the 10s week after week.
That did not happen to Ginny & Georgia who left Netflix Top 10s about one or two months after season 1 debuted at the end of February 2021.Flixpatrol data shows that this show has climbed graphics in Nordic, Southeast European, England and Ireland, and even Australia.So why did Ginny and Georgia return to the top 10? We cannot find headlines that violate or new controversies. What was found, however, was some virus clips posted on Tiktok a few days ago.
Two video clips between them have been viewed 3.8 million times in Tiktok and that does not count any shares that will be done in the personal message application given by Tiktok allows you to download the video.If you scroll the Discover Ginny and Georgia pages, you can see a big list of new videos about this show in the last few days. Each with hundreds of thousands of appearances and likes.
That alone is most likely to have caused people to return or start the show for the first time and thus giving a second life show.The ability of performances like Ginny and Georgia to regain steam on Netflix thanks to the viral clip shows why it will be useful for Netflix to offer the original ability to cut their own performances and screenshot titles. Of course, the legality of doing that might be why we can’t do it now.
When will Season 2 of Ginny and Georgia be on Netflix?
The second season is on the way and is expected to arrive at Netflix then in 2022. Film making is still on April 2022 and while the initial shooting date suggested that it will be wrapped on April 8, we still see pictures from various crew members from Set.The big news for season 2 of this show is that Aaron Ashmore has joined the cast.
