The Oppo Reno 8 Series smartphone was launched in China last night. The company announced the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+, Reno 8 Pro, and Vanilla Reno 8. Together with Trio Reno 8, Oppo Pad Air and Oppo Enco R TWS were also launched in China.
The Oppo Reno 8 series is expected to be launched in India in June, which is not too far from now. Ahead of the launch, now a new report has revealed the Oppo Reno 8 Pro color option, RAM, and storage configuration. Reno 8 Pro in India will be available in three color options. Oppo Reno 8 Pro India Colour Options, RAM, and Storage Options Leaked
According to a report from Passionetegeekz, Oppo Reno 8 Pro will be available in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB options. Based on this leak, India will not get a 8GB+128GB base variant, which was announced yesterday in China. In terms of color options, this device will be available in green, black and white with each of the names of the white, black and glass marketing. Finally, the report also said, Oppo might not launch Reno 8 Pro+ in India.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro: Specifications
Reno 8 Pro comes with a HD+ AMOLED Full 6.62 inch screen with 2400 × 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 92% screen ratio to the body. This device is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SOC with a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz. This can be the first cellphone with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SOC in India too. This phone is equipped with LPDDR4X RAM up to 12GB and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
In the camera department, there is a triple rear camera setting with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, 8MP wide angle lens, and 2MP macro snapper. There is a 32MP Sony IMX709 on the front for selfie. Reno 8 Pro withdrew power from the 4500mAh battery unit supported by Super 80W charging. This device is also equipped with Marisilicon X chip, which is said to offer encouragement in terms of camera performance. Other features include fingerprint scanners being rotated, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Type-C Port, 7.57mm thickness and weighing 188 grams.
In terms of price, Reno 8 Pro can be valued around RS 40,000 and will compete with people like OnePlus 10R, Realme GT 2, and many more. This device is expected to be launched in India in mid -June.
