Shahbaz Gill, one of Khan’s spokesperson, Tweeted that the cellphone was pinched at Sialkot Airport after Khan left to talk with a public meeting in the city on Saturday. The former prime minister told his supporters at a general meeting that his life was under threat and that he had recorded a video message that mentioned “all conspirators”, which would be released in the event of a murder.
Gill said that “On the one hand, no security was deliberately given to Imran Khan, and on the other hand, his two telephones were stolen.” The former advisor said without name anyone that “You are really confused, because the video statement recorded by Khan cannot be found on this phone.”
