Apple Watch Series 8 is likely to arrive at the end of this year with the iPhone 14. This rumor factory is a mess that the Watch Series 8 will bring attractive features, most of the increase in the last generation. For example, in the beginning, there was a report that the 8 -year Watch Series will display a body temperature sensor, but then, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg rejected the report and said that Apple might still be working on that feature and could not be available on the Watch Series 8. Now, Analysts Famous Apple Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple might be working on an algorithm that will support temperature measurements on Watch Series 8.

Kuo, through his Twitter grip, shared that Apple had to cancel the body temperature sensor for the Apple Watch Series 7 years ago because their algorithm “failed to meet the requirements before entering the EVT (technical validation testing).” But this year, Apple might work on the algorithm again and if it meets the company’s “high requirements”, the Watch Series 8 might end up displaying it. Most likely, the body temperature sensor will measure the user’s body temperature, and with the help of the data collected, tell them if they have a fever and give them advice on how to maintain optimal temperature.

According to Kuo, the biggest obstacle, or more precisely the problem, in applying a body temperature sensor in a smart watch is a body temperature sensor variable skin variables. The skin temperature varies according to the outside environment and hardware alone cannot calculate the body temperature of the nucleus. Algorithm, therefore, is needed. But creating an algorithm is a complex process and Apple, becoming Apple, does not want quality below standard. That means that if the algorithm, which is currently under development, does not meet the parameters, Apple tends to dispose of features this year as well.

Not only Apple, his biggest rival in the smart watch industry, Samsung, also faces similar problems with body temperature sensing on smart watches. According to Kuo, this problem is what causes Samsung to delay features and reports that show that the upcoming Galaxy smart watches will bring inaccurate body temperature sensing. Kuo’s latest tweet is also contrary to Gurman’s predictions, which says that the Apple Watch Series 8 will not bring the body’s sensing features
