LONDON: While the omicron variant is considered ‘light’, new symptoms include nausea and loss of appetite, according to the Zoe Covid application study.

According to the British NHS, the symptoms of Coronavirus generally include “high temperatures, new and sustainable coughs, or losses or changes in the sense of smell or taste”, the Daily Express reports.

However, some people have nausea and losing appetite – symptoms that are usually not related to covid.

According to the Spector’s team, the Genetic Epidemiology Professor at King’s College London, these are common symptoms on those who tend to pierce double or even improved.

“Some of them have nausea, light temperatures, sore throats and headaches,” he said as quoted.

The four most common symptoms of omicron variants are coughing, fatigue, congestion and runny nickname, according to CDC analysis of the first 43 cases investigated in the US. In some cases, vomiting has also been reported as a symptom among those who have a variant, the report said.

The recent preliminary study has stated that Omicron seems to be ‘lighter’ than a wave of Delta variant.

People infected between 40 and 70 percent less likely to be hospitalized.

Research from the London College Imperial study and the initial scottish paper pandemic evaluation and increased supervision of Covid-19, stated that people with Omicron 15 to 20 percent smaller would require hospital care.

They are 40 to 45 percent less likely to take an overnight stay at the hospital.
